Jog With Your Dog
This was our forth year as a "dog friendly" race sponsored by, Veterinary Healthcare Associates . The "Jog With Your Dog" event was approximately one mile long and starts in front of the Winter Haven Public Library The course is "dog-friendly" in that we have a "water stop" right at the half-way point, along with a big tub of water at the end. Course map coming soon. Only one dog per runner/walker and all dogs must be on a leash at all times. Entrants were provided complimentary "poop sacks" just in case nature calls during the run. Participants are responsible for keeping their dog under control and cleaning up afterwards (if necessary). This is a "fun" event, but for the first time this year there will be an award for the first male and female dog to cross the finish line.
